This may just be a fraction of the much bigger cellar (10,000 Ranked Great Growth bottles) owned by an anonymous wine amateur and kept under perfect 12/13°C temperature and 70-75% hydrometric conditions under an 18th century castle but it took decades for B&C to finally convince him to share with the world his passion, his patience and his dedication over more than 40 years of wine collection, tasting and careful selection of bottles from impeccable provenance and presentation.
The oldest vintages come from reputable establishments like Maxim’s, la Tour d’Argent or le Coq Hardy just to name a few or famous collectors. Each of these unique bottles have a story to tell like the Lafite 1926 that Eisenhower loved to drink at le Coq Hardy restaurant in Bougival. The collection gathers ultra-rare bottles from 1887, 1894 or 1910 vintages but also the masterpiece years of 1934, 1953, 1959 or 1982…
